Every time someone looks at my iPod I feel like they are judging me. Yes, I do have some Miley Cyrus on there, but Party in the USA is such a catchy tune, and have you ever really listened to the lyrics of The Climb, they are quite beautiful and inspiring. But I do listen to other music too. My new favorite artist is Florence + the Machine, she makes you want to throw your head back and sway and yet at the very same time I can workout to her music at the gym. Norah Jones has also become a new interest mostly because of her new song Chasing Pirates. I mean who wouldn't want to listen to a song with a title that includes the word Pirates. Whenever I listen to her I just picture myself sitting in a meadow, in a floral sun dress with dandelions flying all around me, kind of like the opening scene to My Summer of Love.
Despite having what I like to think, sophisticated taste I still hate when people look at my iPod. My iPod is like a piece of me but I don't think it defines me and that's the scary part. The moment a person takes a look into your Library it is like they think they have figured you out. People are more complicated then their itunes library, they have feelings, and who ever said having eclectic taste was a bad thing.
